The Redwoods Caring Foundation has been faithfully supporting people with learning disabilities across Edinburgh and the Lothians for 40 years.

Established by a local church in 1986 for the provision of care and
support for those in need, it continues to be an expression of Christian faith in action. We not only provide home, but we are also a family, where our staff feel called to minister.

Our Mission is to demonstrate God’s heart of love and care to the
people we support so that they will accomplish their dreams, reach their potential and live life to the fullest extent possible.

Over the last four decades, we have seen many lives fulfilled through love. People who were anxious have found peace; those who were lonely have made friends; some with health conditions have become well.

If you have been part of the journey in the past, or are a part of it now, thank you for your invaluable contribution to the life of Redwoods. But our greatest thanks are due to our Heavenly Father who has proved faithful beyond measure through the years.
